This policy explains how ORTUS AI uses cookies on ortusai.io and cheqit.ortusai.io. Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We use them to keep the site working, to remember your choices, and to understand how the site is used.
Your choice
What we ask depends on where you are. Everywhere else you are asked in the same way, but the optional categories start enabled, so the banner shows what is already on rather than what is off, and you can change any category at any time using Cookie settings.
Your approximate country comes from our CDN at the moment of the request and is not stored. If it cannot be determined, we apply the stricter EU treatment and ask you first.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as an instruction and apply the stricter behaviour wherever you are: nothing optional is enabled until you choose. A choice you have already made here by hand still stands.
ortusai.io and cheqit.ortusai.io are part of the same domain, so your choice is stored once for the whole ortusai.io domain and applies to both sites. You are only asked once.

Necessary — always on. Enables security and basic functionality. This includes the cookie that records your consent choice, which is kept for 180 days.
Preferences — optional. Enables personalized content and settings.
Analytics — optional. Enables tracking of performance. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which sets _ga cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. Whether this starts on or off depends on where you are — see Your choice above.
Marketing — optional. Enables ads personalization and tracking. Whether this starts on or off depends on where you are — see Your choice above.
Where analytics does not run
On cheqit.ortusai.io, analytics is limited to public pages. It is not loaded on account, checkout or download pages, or on any address carrying a token, regardless of your consent choice.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may stop working correctly if necessary cookies are blocked.
